	Airport Public Working Group The EDC sits on the Board of the Airport Working Group and works to assist in the planning and location of the new airport site.
	Airport Advisory Board The EDC sits on the Advisory Board for the Airport Authority and provides input on issues that range from site selection to development of the new master plan. The board meets every month and is impaneled for three years.
	Business Healthcare Connection The EDC sits on the board of the San Diego Business Healthcare Connection. In partnership with the business community, BHC is dedicated to improving health and quality of life by increasing the number of workers and their families with private and public healthcare coverage by providing meaningful education, resources and assistance.
	CEAL –Caltrans External Advisory Liaison Committee The EDC sits on the advisory committee that provides input on issues that are relevant to Caltrans and transportation. This committee meets monthly.
	Desalination Advisory Board The EDC sits on an advisory board that provides input and guidance on the development of the desalination plant in Carlsbad. The board is organized by Poseidon Resources and meets monthly at the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce.
	Escondido Workforce Partnership The EDC works with the city of Escondido to provide planning assistance for a new program promoting the idea of working where you live. The program will work to assist in training residents to meet the needs of the local employers.
	I-15 Interregional Partnership The EDC works to promote smart growth along the I-15 by working with Southwest Riverside County.
	Leadership North County The EDC co-sponsors the nine session program with Cal State San Marcos and the North County Times. The program is a comprehensive regional community involvement program that educates potential and current community leaders about the critical issues facing North San Diego County.
	National University Institute Advisory Board The EDC sits on this advisory board to provide input on policy and issues that are related to the Institutes curriculum and governance. This board meets quarterly at the National University offices in La Jolla.
	North County Personnel Association Board The EDC sits on the board of the North County Personnel Association Board as a Member at Large. The NCPA’s goal is to analyze Human Resource systems, to determine their strengths and weaknesses, and based on this, develop a more objective and effective Human Resource program.
	Oceanside Housing Task Force The EDC participated in the City of Oceanside Affordable Housing Task Force and helped develop policies for the City Council to encourage affordable housing.
	Regional Housing Task Force (SANDAG) The EDC sits on this taskforce that was established to provide input on issues related to the development of affordable housing and smart growth. This taskforce meets monthly at the SANDAG offices in San Diego
	Regional Public Policy Group The EDC sits on a policy working group that meets monthly to discuss issues that impact San Diego County. The focus of the group is to identify issues that require action and to determine the most effective implementation of our individual resources.
	San Diego Futures Foundation The EDC sits on the board to support accessibility to information technology resources, increase computer literacy, and provide job training to enable a broader range of citizens to cross the digital divide. SDFF is dedicated to improving the lives of San Diego County’s kids, teens, seniors, veterans, disabled individuals, and other community members.
	San Diego Regional Economic Evaluation and Prosperity Strategy Advisory Working Group The EDC sits on the San Diego Regional Economic Evaluation and Prosperity Strategy Advisory Working Group. It is comprised of local government elected officials and representatives from business, education, and economic development. The committee advises SANDAG on a shared economic vision for the San Diego region. The Prosperity Strategy provides a measurable assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of the economic vitality and competitiveness of the region. Key areas analyzed are economic and social performance, business vitality, resource capacity, and publicly supported infrastructure capacity.
	Small Business Development Center The EDC sits on an advisory board for the Small Business Development Center and provides input on programs and other related items. The advisory board meets quarterly.
	Workforce Investment Board The EDC sits on San Diego Workforce Investment Board. The Partnership has been coordinating job training and employment programs for more than thirty years. Created under a Joint Powers Agreement by the City and County of San Diego, the Workforce Partnership brings qualified employees and area businesses together. The Partnership is dedicated to building a world-class workforce with solutions that create a stronger economy, so that all San Diegans have the opportunity to share in our prosperity..
